Study Details:

134 exercise and lifestyle activities.

6 day committment over the next few months.

Minimum of $35/hour - approximate pay $1400

The study includes a wide variety of lifestyle and movement-based activities such as typical gym exercises, to daily activities like computer use and simulated shopping.

Subjects should wear comfortable athletic clothing and appropriate footwear for movement-based activities. Athletic wear, and wear appropriate outdoor shoes is HIGHLY recommended. Bring all necessary food and water for the day.

Upon arriving the day of your appointment we will require the completion of a Non-Disclosure Agreement, a W-9 tax form and a participant intake form. Staff will explain protocols in detail and continue with collection.

Study requirements:

  • ALL interested study participants should fill out the quick questionnaire to help with screening. The questionnaire can be found below.

  • ALL participants MUST be comfortable riding an outdoor bike

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must be able to travel to our project site located in Morgan Hill

  • NOTE: The study requires the subject to wear sunglasses so contacts are recommended.

Physical activities may include:

Stationary biking

Outdoor biking

Running

Walking on different terrains

Elliptical workouts

Stair climber

Rowing

Following along to HIIT videos

Cross-training workouts

Lower-intensity activities may include:

Console and PC gaming

House cleaning

Office work

Sitting in a rocking chair

Other day-to-day lifestyle activities

Please Read

ALL subjects are required to fill out a W-9 tax form before beginning the study session. Your W-9 tax form will only be used if your total compensation exceeds $600 for the tax year. These forms will be provided to you the day of your appointment.

Payment forms ONLY include Venmo, Zelle and Check. Participants are paid within 10 days of their session. We can only issue payments to accounts that are registered in your own name. Payments cannot be sent to accounts belonging to someone else.

Signing up for a time slot does not guarantee selection for this study. While appointments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, participation is dependent on meeting demographic requirements. If demographic quotas are met prior to your scheduled appointment, we may need to cancel your time slot. In the unlikely event this happens, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
